Never Stop - Dojo X Kasahara

A/N:  I adore this ship SO MUCH that I found a “storyline” for it and honestly… this song (“Never Stop” by SafetySuit) absolutely describes this couple’s relationship!  I’ll say right now that this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SHIP (and my True OTP ), I LOVE THEM SOOOO MUCH, Atsushi Dojo and Iku Kasahara.  They are from my favorite manga of “Library Wars: Love & War” by Kiiro Yumi.  Seriously, you will NOT REGRET looking this manga up!  Promise!

This is my love song to you

     I’ve read fairy tales about love and such, but I didn’t ever think that it could end up this way.  Me, an ordinary Library Task Force member, falling in love with my superior instructor.  Who knew the world could be this surprising?

     I know I’ve daydreamed and actually dreamt about him… but sometimes I hope that it becomes more than just a dream.  In the past, he pushed me to my limits for my own good.  He never forgot to drop subtle hints that he was proud of my progress.  Occasionally, I’ll wish that I knew then what I know now.  I keep hoping that I can advance closer to him and that somehow we can make it through every obstacle, we face, together.

     I won’t ever stop trying to please him.  Every time I ran off to cry alone, he came after me and dried my tears with just the touch of his hand on my head.  Whenever he left the room I was in, I felt lonely, but encouraged.  Because that meant we just shared a few sentences, his gentle touch on my head, and that was enough to call it a memorable moment.

And that’s the one thing that won’t change

     I’ve acknowledged that I like him.  I know that I have feelings for him… and they won’t change.  Even if I didn’t know that he was my “prince” I still might have felt like this for him.  One day, I hope that I can tell him what I hold in my heart and that he will do the same.

     I always seem to lose my breath when I’m around him.  His gaze is so pleasant and piercing that I feel at home and at the same time that he can see what I’m thinking.  Those times when he took my hand… and that I couldn’t hide the overflowing rush of blood to my face.  I remember the time I tried to hide my face with my hand when he looked back at me as we walked together… my hand holding his in his coat pocket.

     Every time… every time I think of something, he’s in my thoughts somewhere.  He’s just there on the sidelines of the thought, but he’s there all the same.  Just thinking of him makes my heart beat hard inside my chest.  How can just a thought of someone make your heart race?

I will never get used to you

      Does he know that every time he’s comforted me in a desperate time of need, he opens the door to my heart?  Never, in a million years, could I think of falling in love with someone else other than him.  Despite everything we’ve been through, I will never fully understand the way his mind works or how he operates.  In other words, I’ll never get used to him, but at the same time I feel like I already have with the moments we’ve shared.

     There’s nothing I can say or do, but appreciate how many times he’s cleaned up my messes, saved my life, and always end up being there for me whenever I needed him.  I’ll always admire the way he stays strong, never swaying, and sturdy, never backing down from anything.  I don’t ever want this feeling to stop.  I want it to grow stronger every day I see him.  I’ll wait –somewhat patiently– for the day when he’ll say, “I will never stop loving you.”
